Q: What happens in the event of a storm?

A: Every morning we check the weather before going out on the boat. If a storm is in the forecast, the trip will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund, or you will have the option of rescheduling the trip.

Q: Is the price based per person or per boat?

A: All of the prices are per boat, regardless of how many people will be fishing.

Q: What do you provide on a full-day charter?

A: The full-day charter includes lunch, fruit, soft drinks, water, beer, equipment, and your captain and mate.

Q: Does the crew speak English?

A: All of our captains and mates are Costa Ricans, however they can communicate the techniques and vocabulary of fishing in English.

Q: When and where will I be able to buy my fishing license?

A: The fishing license can be purchased at the pier on the day you fish.

Q: How long is the fishing license valid?

A: The fishing licenses are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Q: What time do the boats leave?

A: The boats leave the pier at 7:30am or at 11:30am if you are doing a half-day of fishing in the      afternoon.
